Program description

Reason & Rationality (“we,” “us”) operates an SMS text-messaging program to send marketing text messages to students, parents, and guardians who opt in (the “Reason & Rationality SMS Program”). Messages may include program announcements, application and enrollment deadlines, session dates, tuition and scholarship news, and other promotional information about our programs.

Opt-in

You opt in by providing your mobile phone number and checking the marketing SMS consent box on one of our web forms (the application form, the contact form, or the Master Class form), or by otherwise giving us express written consent to send you marketing text messages. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of applying to or enrolling in the program.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You can expect approximately 2 to 6 messages per month, with more around application deadlines and program dates.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. To re-subscribe, reply START to any message from us, or check the marketing SMS consent box again on the application form, the contact form, or the Master Class form.

Carriers

Carriers (for example AT&T, T‑Mobile, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No third-party marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

Privacy

We handle the personal information you share with us, including your mobile phone number, as described in our Privacy Policy.
